Kamilla Ilishayeva

Please tell us a little about yourself.

My name is Kamilla and I wear a lot of hats. First and foremost I am a wife and a mother of 2. I run a medical supply company with my parents as my full time job and recently took on Real Estate. Outside of that I run my blog Spoon Full of Mill, where I unleash my passion for cooking, caring for my family, beauty & fashion. I have a lot more to accomplish in life and I look forward to every journey that’s to come.

Your work as a realtor gives you a unique perspective.  What flooring trends have you noticed in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area?

Marble & Hardwood. Definitely something 90% of my clients are interested in. Most are starting to fall in love with the thick maple hardwood.

What type of flooring do you prefer and why?

I personally love thick dark planks and black and/or white marble. The white and black marble gives your room/home/space such a crisp and clean look. The dark hardwood makes me feel at home and cozy. I can go on and on…

Do you follow any other blogs for inspiration?  If so, which ones?

I don’t and not because I don’t read other blogs or follow them. As a blogger I noticed every time I go on a blog I compare my blog to theirs. I start to question the way I write, post, the topics I cover. Then I notice myself trying to change my ways because of something that stood out to me on a blog. I try to find inspiration in my physical world through experiences.

Can you explain a recent project or post you’ve been working on?

I recently started Vlogging! I am planning to grow my YouTube channel this year. I am super excited about this because it’s something I have been talking about for a long time but never committed to.

Here’s my most recent Vlog:
